Dee Why Rooftop Garden
When Erin and Rob got in touch they had a vision for their beachside roof terrace but just weren’t quite sure how to execute it to get the best results. The huge space went largely unused as the couple felt unsure how best to use it. They wanted it to be comfortable when used by them for everyday dining and relaxing in the coastal breeze but they also wanted a space which would allow them to entertain large groups of friends for BBQs and sundowner drinks too.
The key here was successfully zoning the space to create different areas of the large rooftop which could be enjoyed for different activities. Landscaping and a huge plant installation from Garden Society helped create pockets of space which, with the right furniture additions, soon had purpose and all are as inviting as each other depending on how the couple wished to use the space; sunbeds for soaking up those long summer rays or a fire pit to cosy up to in the colder months, seasonality won’t impact the usability of this space and it’s now a rooftop to be envied all year round!
